The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released its winter weather outlook, here's what Nashville and Middle Tennessee can expect.

A week after AccuWeather predicted a mild, low-snow winter for the New Jersey region, government forecasters from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued similar predictions on winter temperatures,

The winter temperature outlook is favoring equal chances of above or below temperatures for the upper Midwest. The biggest impacts from La Nina will be seen in the southern and far northeastern portions of the country.
