Rumblings of Jurgen Klopp returning to management after Red Bull's intentions to take over Paris FC were swiftly put to bed by the club's president

In Germany, where football's commercialisation isn't celebrated like it is elsewhere, Jürgen Klopp's decision to join Red Bull hasn't gone down well.

Paris FC president Pierre Ferracci has put to bed any speculation that Jurgen Klopp might take the helm at the Ligue 2 club, despite Red Bull's recent takeover. The former Liverpool manager recently took up the position of Head of Global Football for Red Bull.

Jurgen Klopp is to become the new head of global soccer at Red Bull. Klopp is set to start his new position on January 1, 2025. The German will oversee Red Bull’s international football network, marking his first appointment since stepping down as manager of Liverpool at the end of last season.

Max Verstappen says that "it's great" that Jurgen Klopp will become a part of the Red Bull family. The former manager of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund will now be a part of the Austrian company after it was announced that he will become their 'Head of Global Soccer' from 1 January 2025.

When Jurgen Klopp brought to an end his time at Liverpool last season, his assistant Pep Lijnders also moved on after nine years at the club. Now in his debut managerial role at Red Bull Salzburg, Lijnders was surprisingly joined by Klopp who announced his new role at Red Bull as Head of Global Football.
