The latest Xbox Partner Preview has revealed a collection of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one, including a spin-off for one of Remedy Games' greatest achievements.

Xbox gamers can currently enjoy huge deals on hundreds of games and add-ons, with exclusive bonuses in store for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is a feature included in a Game Pass Ultimate subscription -- which costs $20 a month. The feature is still in beta, but it allows subscribers to access and play certain games from the Game Pass library on other devices without an Xbox console.

Here's the full Game Pass line up for the end of October, and into the start of November: South Park: The Fractured but Whole (Cloud, Console, and PC), via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Game Pass Standard Donut County (Cloud, Console, and PC), via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Game Pass Standard.

As for the new Xbox Game Pass game in question, it debuted back in 2021, which was notably a very light year in terms of game releases, which is fairly standard of the year after a new console generation starts.

But remarkably, thanks at least in part to advances in cloud gaming tech (e.g., Nvidia GeForce Now and Xbox Game Pass ), the $650 Chromebook Plus 516 GE is actually pretty good at playing video games. It’s also pretty good at just being a laptop, though not without some ChromeOS-flavored hiccups along the way.

Snow Day was a disappointment, the two Ubisoft-published games that preceded it narratively are stellar. One of those, the superhero-themed South Park: The Fractured But Whole, just came to Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and Standard on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S has been updated with a new, very inappropriate game.
