Just trust resident celebrity dancer Jennifer Lopez, who was spotted wearing a pair of ballet flats that closely resembled pointe shoes (for the uninitiated, those are the ones you wear to stand on your tippy toes) during a stroll in Los Angeles. She paired the flats with a pussy bow black sweater, matching chino pants, and a chain-strap handbag.

The balletcore movement is less about literally looking like the Black Swan, and more so about embodying the understated elegance of a ballerina. Like Lopez did, you can partake in the look by choosing a key accessory, and keeping the rest of the ensemble pared-back. Plié skills are not required.
