As rumored, WWE announced this morning that NXT will be back on the road in early November for a show from an iconic venue that will air in their old Wednesday night timeslot. The now black-and-white brand is headed to Philadelphia and the 2300 Arena — fka ECW Arena.

NXT is going to the land of extreme, at least for one week. On Monday, WWE confirmed it will hold an NXT television taping at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The taping will take place on Wednesday, November 6.

In the new issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that WWE has an upcoming date booked at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, which was the former ECW Arena. There’s a belief that NXT will be taking place there on Wednesday, November 6 — but that has not been confirmed.

WWE is officially bringing NXT to the former ECW Arena for the first time ever. It was confirmed today that NXT will air live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 6. While NXT is normally a Tuesday show, it’s being moved to Wednesday that week to avoid going against election night coverage.
