Aston Martin 'missing ingredient' as ambitious F1 team told Adrian Newey isn't enough
Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoy has pinpointed a title-winning driver as the "missing ingredient" for Aston Martin. This comes in light of the team's recent acquisition of Adrian Newey, the legendary car designer set to join the Silverstone-based outfit next March and spearhead their car designs from 2026.

Fernando Alonso acknowledged that he has thought about the future, saying they would decide together with Adrian Newey and Lawrence Stroll at the end of 2026 if he would continue.
