Wukong may not technically be a soulslike game, but it shares a lot of DNA with the genre. That includes needing various upgrade materials, necessary for keeping your weapons in tip-top shape as you reach increasingly harder baddies.

PM Studios will distribute the newly announced physical edition of Black Myth: Wukong for PlayStation 5 in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, the company announced.

Wukong developer Game Science shares good news for PlayStation 5 users waiting for a physical release of the highly successful game.

Black Myth: Wukong surprised many earlier this year when it impressed players, selling an astonishing 20 million copies and all but ensuring a sequel from developer Game Science. If you didn't pick it up, or you fancy a double-dip, word on the street is that PS5 physical editions are extremely imminent, potentially available as soon as today.

Black Myth: Wukong's PS5 physical edition will reportedly cost $64.99 in the U.S. and €69.99 in Europe. That puts it slightly above the standard digital edition's price. Game Science has yet to reveal if the physical edition will come with additional items included in the game's more expensive deluxe edition.

Physical editions of Black Myth Wukong are coming. In a tweet from the game's official X/Twitter account, Game Science thanked players for their patience, announcing that Black Myth: Wukong's master disc is now "ready" and that the PS5 physical editions will be arriving soon.
