The Utah Hockey Club will be without a couple of defenseman for an extended period of time after Sean Durzi and John Marino each underwent surgery. The team announced Durzi had his right shoulder repaired after being injured last week in Utah’s fourth game of the season and is expected to be out four to six months.

Utah Hockey Club defensemen Sean Durzi and John Marino will be sidelined multiple months following their respective surgeries, the team announced.

The team announced on Wednesday that Sean Durzi will be out for 5-6 months with an injured right shoulder while John Marino will be put for 3-4 months with a lower back injury. Both Durzi and Marino underwent successful surgeries on their respective injuries.
