South Korea's military said Thursday it is not investigating the alleged flight of South Korean drones over North Korea's capital earlier this month, describing it as a matter to be clarified by the North.

In October, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK stated that South Korean drones had violated the country's airspace three times since the beginning of the month. According to the ministry, Seoul used drones to distribute political leaflets in the Pyongyang area.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has held a meeting with top security officials to discuss what Pyongyang claims was South Korea's infiltration of drones and military action plans to respond to it, state media reported Tuesday.
