An angry customer fighting with fast food workers over his Popeyes order wound up stabbed inside the North Philadelphia restaurant, police said.

It’s been years since the popularity of Popeye’s signature Chicken Sandwich led to all kinds of hype and violence out in these streets and though things have calmed down since then, some people still don’t know how to act when stepping into the fried chicken establishment.

A Popeyes worker in Philadelphia who was being attacked by a customer stabbed the attacker in self defense, police said.

An argument over a fast-food order in a Philadelphia Popeyes restaurant ended with a customer being stabbed by an employee in what police described as an act of self-defense. According to police, a 28-year-old man entered the Popeyes on North Broad Street in Logan around midnight Tuesday and got into an argument with employees about his order.
