ATLANTA — Former President Barack Obama will join Vice President Kamala Harris for the first time on the campaign trail this election season with a rally next week in Georgia as Democrats race to turn out more Black voters.

Barack and Michelle Obama will join Kamala Harris on the trail at get-out-the-vote events for the Democratic presidential candidate in swing states Georgia and Michigan next week, a senior campaign official said.

Former first lady Michelle Obama will appear at a rally on Kamala Harris‘s behalf for the first time since endorsing her in July. With three weeks left until the election, the Harris campaign is focused on garnering votes from swing states,
