Enjoyed a few hours at the Whitney. Well laid out and easy to navigate. Nice view of Manhattan from some floors too. Would recommend. Full review by MauraIE

Nice museum with some works well hung and with clear labelling. We ate in the Frenchette restaurant at the museum and this was disappointing especially the spaghetti which was oily and over salted. F… Full review by Tricia957

There is one small gallery on the ground floor, hidden to the right of the elevators, that you can go into anytime without paying admission. If you are waiting around for the right time to come around, maybe you can spend some time there while you wait.
Planning a visit in November - and hoping to see the Hopper pictures. Are there many there? Is the sketch for Nighthawks going to be on view next month?

When I was there I saw the Calder exhibit, which I loved. The Hopper exhibit was not on in September at the Whitney.
